The stunning Burrage Mansion was built in 1899 for Alfred Burrage, a businessman, lawyer, and philanthropist. Filled with beautifully crafted 19th century details and a few gargoyles on the side, this Back Bay masterpiece was turned into four magnificent condos.
The building was exquisitely designed, but was also a bit quirky. It was filled with all sorts of gargoyles and griffins… inside and out. Taking those as a jumping off point, we crafted a mark that spoke to the spirit of the building and to the elegance of the lifestyle there.
Adams Design developed a portfolio that held inserts on the history of the building and it’s location in Boston’s historic Back Bay. The flap of the portfolio was covered in a Victorian damask pattern heavily embossed on a thick textured paper. The logo served double duty with a die-cut top where the flap of the portfolio could be inserted to keep the piece closed.
