The Heritage On The Garden

A destination branding campaign for a luxury retail address in Boston’s Back Bay.

About this project

Heritage On The Garden occupies a full city block along Boylston Street in Boston’s Back Bay, directly across from the Public Garden. The building houses multiple high-end retailers, each with its own brand presence and independent marketing. For more than a decade, we have partnered with The Druker Company to shape and sustain the destination’s image advertising, way finding and create a portal website for the retailers.

The challenge was to promote the building as a singular luxury address rather than a collection of storefronts. The developer sought to reinforce Heritage On The Garden as a curated shopping experience, ensuring consumers understood that this was the place to find premier retailers together in one location.

The tagline “Where great taste is always in style” became the anchor. It positions the building as curator rather than tenant, suggesting discernment and continuity across seasons. The messaging elevates the collective experience of shopping at Heritage rather than highlighting individual brands.

We developed a custom illustration system built around the architecture itself. The building serves as the visual anchor, framed by the trees and seasonal shifts of the Public Garden across the street. This approach allowed the campaign to evolve year after year. Figures, window displays, and wardrobe elements change with the seasons, while the architecture remains constant. The result is a flexible, recognizable visual language sustained over time.

Across print, outdoor, signage, and digital placements, the system reinforces Heritage On The Garden as a lasting Back Bay destination defined by taste and location.
