About this project
Hileman Real Estate Companies is a national commercial real estate developer focused on office, retail, and mixed-use properties. With projects ranging from the CNN Headquarters to the Geffen Playhouse, the firm required an identity system that could reflect the rigor, scale, and discipline behind its work.
As the company expanded, its existing brand no longer reflected the sophistication of its development approach or the range of audiences it served. The challenge was to create a unified identity capable of organizing multiple business lines while avoiding the generic visual language common within commercial real estate.
The identity is built around structure. The mark derives from an architectural grid, establishing a framework that reflects planning, coordination, and precision. That grid extends throughout the broader visual system, organizing typography, color, imagery, and layout across print and digital applications.
A saturated color palette introduces contrast and flexibility, allowing the system to adapt across diverse project types while maintaining cohesion. Geometric typography reinforces clarity and legibility, creating a contemporary visual language grounded in architecture and urban development.
The system extends across signage, marketing materials, placemaking applications, and digital environments, maintaining consistency across projects of varying scale and context.
