A brand identity for a fundraising partner helping nonprofits turn individual action into lasting impact.
About the project
Newport ONE serves some of the country’s most respected nonprofits, helping mission-driven organizations connect donors to the causes they care about most. As one of the oldest direct response fundraising firms in the United States, they had grown into a fully integrated partner offering strategy, creative, production, and analytics. The challenge was that prospective nonprofit clients often saw them as a vendor rather than a strategic ally.
We began by listening: to the fundraisers, the strategists, and the mission-driven organizations they serve. That listening shaped everything.
The name shift to Newport ONE articulated what the firm truly offers: one partner, one point of accountability, one place to bring the full complexity of nonprofit fundraising together. Integration became the central idea, shaping both the name and the positioning.
The tagline ONE can make the difference was built to hold two truths at once. It reflects the firm’s integrated model, and it honors the belief that drives every nonprofit: that a single donor, a single action, or a single decision can create real and lasting change for the people and communities those organizations exist to serve.
Working with illustrator Christine Beauregard, we created a campaign that put human beings at the center of every image, representing the range of causes and communities Newport ONE’s clients work on behalf of every day.
As the organization evolved through 2024, so did the brand. The visual language became more motion-forward and data-informed, but the core idea never changed: that effective fundraising is, at its heart, about human connection and the belief that organized effort can shift outcomes for the people who need it most.

The simplified wordmark can be used against a black background on on it’s own on white.
“One” became both a positioning statement and a promise, clarifying integration across strategy, creative, and data while reinforcing alignment with nonprofit missions.
We partnered with illustrator Christine Beauregard to create a series of ads, each highlighting a key client type with playful, imaginative visuals.
The new website was reworked to spotlight the services that Newport ONE could provide to clients as well as providing essential information for recruitment.
The new identity gave Newport ONE a clear and unified presence aligned with how the firm operates today. Built around a single, enduring concept, the brand positions Newport ONE as a strategic partner helping nonprofits bring complex work together and turn individual action into measurable impact.
