Tootsie Roll Industries

To mark renovations at their Cambridge Brands building, Tootsie Roll Industries partnered with us to create a bold, site-specific installation. The goal: celebrate Cambridge’s candy-making legacy through a fun, lasting piece of environmental branding that reflects the brand’s heritage.

Candy has shaped Cambridge since 1820, peaking in 1946 with 66 makers on Confectioner’s Row. Today, only Tootsie Roll remains.

The installation features illustrations by Cambridge artist Dawn Scaltreto, celebrating the neighborhood’s rich cultural and historical roots.
