As a Boston design studio, our task was to transform Turner Hill, once the magnificent estate of a prominent Massachusetts family, into a vibrant 21st-century destination. Today, it embodies an exclusive golf club, restaurants, inn, and concierge service for the surrounding private homes. In short, our job was to sell resort-style living on Boston's exclusive North Shore. From the visual language to tone of voice and storytelling, every element was crafted to reflect sophistication and exclusivity."
At the heart of this storied 19th-century mansion, now reimagined as an exclusive country resort, lies a singular motif—the peacock. Found in the intricate carvings of wood and stone throughout the estate, this regal bird has long been a silent yet powerful emblem of its history, craftsmanship, and grandeur. The peacock represents sophistication, opulence, and timeless beauty—qualities that define both the estate and the elevated guest experience.
