Rooted in warmth and purity, the identity blends refined typography with soft, organic detailing to reflect the brand’s artisanal quality. The visual system extends across packaging and print, presenting Calda Vita as a modern, understated expression of natural luxury.

We named the company Calda Vita, inspired by the Italian words for “warmth” and “life.” Drawing on the founder’s Italian heritage, we developed a name and identity that balance craft and clarity — expressing artisanal quality, natural luxury, and enduring simplicity.

THE CHALLENGE

Develop a premium identity that communicates the sophistication and sensuality of the Calda Vita collection while ensuring the visual system could extend seamlessly across packaging, print materials, and future product lines.

THE SOLUTION

We designed a brand identity rooted in the elegance of Italian heritage, drawing inspiration from classical motifs, historic typography, and the refined craftsmanship associated with Italy’s design legacy. The Calda Vita logo blends these influences into a modern mark with sculptural curves and timeless proportions—creating a sense of authenticity, history, and quiet luxury.

A warm, sunlit palette and elegant serif typography support the logo’s classical foundation, bringing softness and sophistication to the system. We extended the identity into packaging concepts and printed materials with subtle textures and generous white space, allowing the brand to express both its historical roots and its contemporary lifestyle positioning.

The logo draws on ancient Italian and Greek motifs to express heritage, craftsmanship and timeless luxury. A central urn with a flame, flanked by the stylized hippocampus (half horse and half fish) symbolizes warmth, life and the purity of water.

The Calda Vita color palette blends blue and green tones with a pale blue accent. This combination evokes Mediterranean landscapes, water and natural ingredients, reinforcing the brand’s balance of warmth, purity and understated luxury.

Big Caslon Medium was used for the logo because its roots in 17th-century serif typography and its bold, sculpted letterforms evoke classical elegance and craftsmanship, aligning with the brand’s heritage-inspired identity.
