Capping a major milestone in Boston waterfront redevelopment

One Harbor Shore waterfront residential building at Fan Pier in Boston

We’re excited to share One Harbor Shore, our latest — and final — large-scale branding project at Fan Pier.

As the third and last residential building developed on the site, One Harbor Shore occupies a truly special position directly on Boston Harbor. It completes the residential vision that began with Twenty Two Liberty and 50 Liberty, marking the moment when Fan Pier fully came into its own as a waterfront neighborhood. From a branding standpoint, this project carried real weight — it would help shape how Fan Pier is ultimately experienced and remembered.

Brand identity design for One Harbor Shore, the luxury waterfront residential tower at Fan Pier in Boston.

From the start, we worked closely with the development team to define the brand from the ground up. That meant establishing a clear point of view across naming, positioning, visual language, and messaging. The identity needed to feel confident alongside the earlier Fan Pier residences, while also expressing a more refined, residential sensibility — one that reflects its immediate, front-row connection to the harbor.

Rather than relying on overt luxury cues, we focused on tone, restraint, and lifestyle. The brand is meant to reflect the ease of waterfront living — the rhythm of the harbor, the social energy of the neighborhood, and the sense of arrival that comes from living directly on the water. It’s sophisticated without being formal, and welcoming without feeling overworked.

The result is a brand system that feels established from day one and remains flexible across print, digital, environmental graphics, and on-site experiences. For us, One Harbor Shore represents both a culmination and a milestone — a meaningful final chapter in Fan Pier’s story, and one of our most rewarding branding projects in Boston.
