Guy Martin, the celebrity, three-Michelin star French chef, said this about his fabulous new restaurant in the Fairmont Hotel at Battery Wharf: “Sensing will be a destination for those attracted by a beautiful, fine, and subtle cuisine.” 

We took those descriptives and translated them into an ad campaign as provocative and unique as Chef Martin’s menu.


Brand Concept
Sensing, the signature restaurant at the Fairmont Hotel at Battery Wharf, opened to great fanfare in Boston. The restaurant needed a great, attention-getting branding campaign but wanted to make use of these fantastic lip paintings that they had commissioned. Food and romance go together so we decided upon a humorous take on romance novels.


Implementing the concept
Over the course of a year, we created window signage, digital newsletters, direct mail and eblasts for the restaurant.
