Brand strategy and identity design for One Harbor Shore luxury condominium development.

About this project

As the third and final residential building developed at Fan Pier, One Harbor Shore occupies a prominent position directly on Boston Harbor, completing the residential vision for the site. Following the success of Twenty Two Liberty and 50 Liberty, the project carried both symbolic and strategic significance—shaping how Fan Pier would ultimately be experienced and remembered as a fully realized waterfront neighborhood.

Adams Design partnered closely with the development team to define the brand from the ground up, establishing a clear point of view across naming, positioning, visual language, and messaging. The identity was designed to stand confidently alongside earlier phases of Fan Pier while expressing a more refined, residential sensibility befitting the site’s final and most direct connection to the harbor.

Rather than relying on overt luxury cues, the brand emphasizes tone, restraint, and lifestyle—reflecting the ease, activity, and social nature of living on the waterfront. The resulting system balances sophistication with approachability, allowing One Harbor Shore to feel established from day one while remaining flexible across print, digital, environmental, and on-site experiences.

The brochure was crafted with the meticulous clarity of modernist design with silver foil stamped on silver-inked pages creates a luminous, reflective interior that bridges bold, full-color views and monochrome lifestyle photography.

The advertising campaign extends the identity into a series of lifestyle-driven compositions that reflect the pleasures of living on the waterfront. Color, scale, and unexpected pairings—food, movement, air, and water—create moments that feel playful yet composed.

One Harbor Shore completed the residential narrative of Fan Pier, serving as the culminating expression of a long-term placemaking strategy along Boston Harbor. Building on the momentum established by Twenty Two Liberty and 50 Liberty, the project reinforced Fan Pier’s identity as a cohesive, design-forward waterfront neighborhood rather than a collection of individual buildings.

With its refined positioning and clear sense of place, One Harbor Shore helped solidify Fan Pier as one of Boston’s most fully realized urban waterfront environments—bringing closure to a multi-phase development that transformed decades of underutilized land into a vibrant residential destination.
