About this project
Set on the historic grounds of a former Ipswich estate, Turner Hill brings together championship golf, refined country living, and architectural grandeur rooted in the late 1800s. The brand needed to honor the estate’s storied past while presenting a renewed identity that felt relevant, welcoming, and enduring for today’s members.
Our approach drew directly from the property itself, most notably the hand-carved peacock motifs found throughout the estate’s original woodwork and stone detailing. Reinterpreted into a refined, contemporary mark, the peacock became a symbol of heritage, craftsmanship, and quiet confidence. The identity balances tradition with restraint, avoiding nostalgia while preserving a strong sense of place.
A palette inspired by the iridescence of peacock feathers, deep navy, heritage green, and sporting blue, anchors the system, while classic typography and editorial layouts reinforce the estate’s cultural depth. The result is a visual language that feels timeless, elevated, and distinctly Turner Hill.
